The traditional home revolves around this interior patio, protected from the heat, with a fountain or well and full of vegetation to increase the feeling of freshness in the home. To this day they continue to fulfill the same function and their beauty in some cases is extraordinary and worthy of admiration. As the main exponent, the province of Córdoba has given good testimony to this by converting its traditional patio festival into Intangible Heritage of Humanity. The province of Málaga also has this patio culture and in this case, two foreign neighbors who currently live in the historic center of Alhaurín el Grande, and who are real estate advisors in the company Century 21, were captivated by many of these patios in their professional visits and decided to organize and sponsor this event that has the support and collaboration of the Alhaurín City Council el Grande and the sponsorship of other local companies that have contributed the awards such as Vivero Juan González, Almacenes Rueda García, Charcutería Alhcorte, Aceitunas Bravo, Miel Fuente del Sol and Apícola Milosi.
