Program of Torrox Fair

Year 2023

It celebrates: From 4th October to 8th October
Place: Torrox (Málaga)

Festivities dedicated to the patron saints: the Virgen de las Nieves and San Roque. The day is in August but the celebration was postponed until the end of the grape harvest. Regional dance shows, performances and music are the highlights of the festive programme.

Wednesday, October 4

Children's Day at attractions all night.

Every day the attractions are silent until 10:00 p.m.

Eve Night

  • 7:30 p.m. VII Torrox Fair Gala. Constitution Plaza. Performance by Torrox Choirs and Dances by Lidia and Lucía.
  • 8:15 p.m. Estep Dance dance show by Estefanía Bonilla.
  • 9:00 p.m. Queen and Mister election in the Plaza de la Constitución. Queen and Mister Election Contest.
  • 10:00 p.m. Awards.
  • 10:15 p.m. Greetings from the Festival Councilor and the Mayor of Torrox.
  • 10:25 p.m. VI Proclamation of the Torrox Fair by Don Manuel Martín Godoy.
  • 11:00 p.m. Departure of the delegation and the Vive la Música Cultural Association towards the Royal Portico.

Royal Portico

  • 11:10 p.m. Interpretation of the anthems of Andalusia and Spain by the Vive La Música Cultural Association.
  • Inauguration and lighting of the fairgrounds by the authorities and launching of rockets announcing the start of the festivities.
  • 11:30 p.m. Stellar performance in the Plaza de la Constitución with: Laura Gallego.

Thursday, October 5

First day of the Fair

  • 12:00 p.m. IX Meeting of Rocieros Choirs, with the performance of the choirs "Con otro aire" from Nerja, "Aires del Faro" from Torrox Costa and "La Biznaga" from Torrox.
  • 1:30 p.m. Tribute to the oldest couple.
  • 2:00 p.m. Ceremony of Petanque Tournament Trophies.
  • 5:00 p.m. La Movida del Tardeo with "Dj Zephs", in the Plaza de la Constitución.

Mayor's Hut in the Picasso Gardens:

  • 5:30 p.m. Performance Carmen Castro
  • 6:30 p.m. Chocolate party organized by the Almedina women's association together with the Festivities Department
  • 7:00 p.m. Performance by Nieves Quevedo
  • 8:00 p.m. Entertainment and dancing with the Onda Sonora group until 11:00 p.m.
  • 8:00 p.m. Parade Show through the Theater Tent "The Color of Joy". Route: Plaza de la Constitución, Calle Alta, Calle Baja, Calle Calzada, Calle Almedina, Paseo de las Moreras to Plaza de la Constitución

  • 5:00 p.m. 10th Stone dragging exhibition contest with mules in La Granja.
  • 5:00 p.m. Entertainment in the Plaza de la Constitución by the Charanga "THE CRUMBS".
  • 5:30 p.m. Inflatable bull running. Departure from the Plaza de la Constitución.

  • 12:00 p.m. Mass in honor of the Patron Saints, the Virgin of the Snows and San Roque, in the Church of Our Lady of the Encarnation.

We continue with the Day Fair in the Plaza de la Constitución.

  • 1:30 p.m. Constitution Plaza. Performance by the Onda Sonora Group.
  • 4:00 p.m. Constitution Plaza. La Movida del Tardeo with DJs Leo Varga & Mike Fdz.
  • 5:00 p.m. Great equestrian show.
  • 8:00 p.m. Procession in honor of the Patron Saints: Our Lady of the Snows and San Roque. Departure from (Parish Church of Ntra.
