It celebrates: From 11th August to 13th August
Place: Cazalla de la Sierra (Sevilla)

Devotion and joy in Sierra Morena. Pilgrimage to the Sanctuary, moving mass, and procession with the Virgin. Pilgrims sing and dance along the way, and the celebration culminates with a parade through the streets to the Parish Church. A deeply rooted tradition since 1635.

Saturday, August 5, 2023, at 9:00 p.m. Saturday and EXALTATION OF THE PILGRIMAGE

During the days 9, 10 and 11 of August of 2023, Solemn Triduo

beginning at 8:45 p.m. with the Prayer of the Holy Rosary and at 9:00 p.m. Holy Mass, On Friday, August 11, at the end of the Eucharist, there will be a solemn exposition, cloistered procession around the Sanctuary and blessing with HIS DIVINE MAJESTY.

Saturday August 12

  • At 9:00 p.m.: Romeros Mass

The Choir of Romeros de la Virgen del Monte will sing

Sunday August 13

  • 7:00 am: Cheerful reveille by the drummers. "El Cele", from Hidad. From Rocío de Triana.
  • 9:00 a.m.: Concentration of carts and carts in the Paseo del Moro, to start the road to the Sanctuary at 10:00 a.m.
  • 10:15 a.m.: Concentration of charres, carriages, horse-drawn carriages, and horsemen on the Paseo del Moro, to start the journey to the Sanctuary at 11:00 a.m.
  • 12:00 pm: Prayer of the Angelus.
  • 12:45 p.m.: Romeros Mass. Occupying the Sacred Chair Rvdo. Mr. Francisco José Gordon Pérez. Parish priest of Our Lady of Consolation in Caralla de la Sierra (Seville) and Spiritual Director of Our Brotherhood.
  • 4:30 p.m.: Holy Rosary and descent of the Blessed Virgin from her dressing room to the cart to start.
  • Then the solemn transfer to the Parish Church.

Approximate scheduled arrival time at Moro at 8:15 p.m. and the Jew at 9:30 p.m. As is traditional, during the processional route Salves will be sung in her honor at the Cruz del Chorro. The Moro and the Ejido.

The Choir of Romeros de la Virgen del Monte will sing.
