Place: Montiel (Ciudad Real)

Historical days related to the death of Pedro I of Castile, recreating the arrival of the king in Montiel, taking refuge in the Castle of the Star. We will see how life was in the 14th century and witness the famous Battle of Montiel.

Friday April 12

  • 12:20 More than one radio program, from Montiel, with ONDA CERO.
  • 19:30 Medieval parade by the Castilla La Mancha Bagpipe Band.
  • 20:30 Inauguration of Montiel Medieval by the mayor of the town and chief justice of Castilla y Campo de Montiel. Beginning of the Medieval Days. Town Hall Square. Opening of the medieval market.
