  • The route will be the usual: San Luis and Cid streets, Plaza Layana and Plaza del Pueblo, where it will culminate at 1 p.m. with the final fireworks.
  • It coincides with the anniversary of celebrating 20 years as a Festival of International Tourist Interest.

New this year 2022:

"water zone, musical atmosphere in the Tomatina area and some other surprises", says the councillor for Tourism and Tomatina, María Vallés.

La Tomatina VR Experience

For those who cannot travel to the event, there is a virtual reality game 'La Tomatina VR Experience', with the support of an Oculus Quest viewer. Participants have to throw and dodge tomatoes, as well as the typical elements such as throwing water from the balconies, the trucks, the music, the singing and the hustle and bustle.
