Cultural and tourist event in honour of the Infante Don Fadrique of Castile to commemorate his death at the hands of his half-brother King Pedro I El Cruel, which took place on 29 May 1358.

La programación de las XV Jornadas Fadriqueñas, que se celebran del 24 al 26 de mayo de 2024 en La Villa de don Fadrique, tendrán este año como lema el "arte y el conocimiento", y estarán cargadas, como siempre, de música, teatro, exposiciones de pintura, diversos talleres de artesanía, el ya clásico encuentro de encajeras, además de una exhibición de los productos gastronómicos de la localidad. Y todo ello ambientando con un Mercado Medieval que estará ubicado entre la Plaza de la Glorieta y la Plaza Mayor, y la calle que las une. El objetivo no es otro que el de conmemorar al fundador del municipio manchego, el Infante Don Fadrique, que murió a manos de su hermanastro, el rey de Castilla, Pedro I El Cruel, un 29 de mayo de 1358 en los Reales Alcázares de Sevilla.
