Friday October 27

  • 5:15 p.m. III Modern History Congress
    Inauguration of the III Congress of Modern History, Corella City of the Baroque. "Stripes on paper, permeable walls. Borders and their repercussions in the north of the peninsula during the Modern Age." (See separate program)
    Museum of Sacred Art.
  • 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. Baroque Market
    Decorated with ornaments, it has stalls selling food and crafts, music, street entertainment, an ecological carousel and a children's playroom.
    Installation of a baroque camp with historical recreations and exhibitions from the beginning of the 18th century.
    Plaza de España and Plaza de los Fueros.
  • 8:00 p.m. Baroque recital
    By L'ensemble La Serena (France). Quartet formed by Amaya Domínguez (mezzo soprano), Sandrine Dupé (baroque violin), Carola Grinberg (lute) and Damien Lehman (zarb-percussion).

  • 1:00 p.m. Proclamation announcing the arrival of H.M. King Felipe V of Bourbon, to Corella. With the participation of the Alhama Theater Group, Tambarría Dance Group and Pipers of Tudela.
  • 1:40 p.m. Judgment and delivery of the II "Corella Ciudad del Barroco" Jovergent Research Prize and closing of the Congress
    Museum of Sacred Art.
  • 7:00 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Theatrical representation commemorating the visit of SS. MM. Kings Philip V and María Luisa Gabriela of Savoy, accompanied by the Nobles of his Court, to the City of Corella. With the participation of the Alhama Theater Group, the Corella Music Band Group, the Comparsa de Gigantes, the Corella Auroros Group, the Rondalla Centinela, the Orfeón Virgen del Villar, the Tambarría Dance Group and the Pipers of Tudela.
    Itinerary: Avda. M. Escudero, Crucero, Pza. de los Fueros, E. Malumbres, Pza. de España, Losada and Placeta de García.
    Once the parade is over, a colorful and melodious "dance accompanied by a "palace appetizer" will take place where all those wearing baroque clothing will participate: extras in the Royal Cortege and also the general public who are dressed in baroque period costumes.
