Program of San Roque Patron Saint Festivities and Cultural and Sports Week

The festivities in honour of the patron saint of San Roque start every year from the 14th to the 17th of August, with a Cultural and Sports week beforehand, which is characterised by a variety of activities for all the citizens.

MONDAY August 7

• 12:00 p.m. Inauguration of the XXXVI Cultural and Sports Week with ringing of bells and delivery of sweets in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
• 6:30 p.m. Mini-Olympics on the sports courts "Moisés Ruíz Tocón", organized by the Deportivo Peñón del Moro club.
• 9:30 p.m. Visit to the Water Interpretation Center, meeting point in Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
• 10:30 p.m. Summer film circuit in the Multipurpose Space for Cultural Use, Social Hall.

TUESDAY August 8

• 11:00 a.m. Chocolate and traditional games, organized by the Guadalinfo center in the schoolyard.
• 7:30 p.m. Children's 3X3 Basketball Tournament in the Sports Area, organized by the Peñón del Moro Sports Club.
• 8:30 p.m. Opening of the Exhibitions in the Multipurpose Space for Cultural Use.
• 10:00 p.m. Esparto grass craft workshop in the Multipurpose Space for Cultural Use.
• 11:30 p.m. Absolute 3X3 Basketball Tournament in the Sports Area, organized by the Peñón del Moro Sports Club.

WEDNESDAY, August 9

• 10:30 a.m. Play-Station contest. (child and youth category) "Pro-evolution", at the Guadalinfo Center (It is mandatory that the Play be provided in each category).
• 7:00 p.m. Bicycle Day: sports competition. Exit at the "Moisés Ruiz Tocón" Sports Center.
• 8:30 p.m. Opening of the Exhibition "The esparto grass, source of work and life" in the Multipurpose Space for Cultural Use.
• 9:15 p.m. Switching on the lighting of the festivities.
• 8:30 p.m. Opening of the Exhibitions in the Multipurpose Space for Cultural Use.
• 11:30 p.m. Absolute 3X3 Basketball Tournament in the Sports Area, organized by the Peñón del Moro Sports Club.
• 10:30 p.m. Musical night with Sensi Falán "Guateque", in the Plaza de la Fuente
• 11:30 p.m. Final Phases of the Padel Championship, in the Sports area

THURSDAY August 10

• 11:00 a.m. Children's cooking workshop in the Multipurpose Space for Cultural Use. Registration of €2 at the Town Hall until Wednesday 9
• 6:00 p.m. Race of ribbons by bicycle (from 3 to 10 years old), in Arcediano Alberto Gómez Square.
• 8:30 p.m. III Men's Volleyball Tournament, on the Moisés Ruiz Tocón Sports courts
• 9:00 p.m. Facade competition: route through the registered homes and voting.
• 10:30 p.m. Documentary night "Alboloduy in Images" in the Multipurpose Space for Cultural Use with the following presentations:
  - Promotional video "Alboloduy, Land of Cinema".
  - Documentary "Water: Ecological and Heritage Resource"
  - Documentary "Geotourism Resources and Mining Heritage".

• 7:45 p.m. "Villa de Alboloduy" Popular Marathon, organized by the "Peñón del Moro" Sports Club. Departure from the Old Square.
• 8:30 p.m. Play Off Phase of the V "Villa de Alboloduy" Children's Indoor Soccer League, at the "Moisés Ruiz Tocón" Sports Center.
• 9:00 p.m. Opening of the Exhibitions in the Multipurpose Space for Cultural Use.
• 10:30 p.m. Musical Night "The Adventure of the Boo" by the company "Celebritas", framed in the Circuit Arriba el Telón, in the Plaza de la Fuente.

• 12:00 p.m. IV Children's Futsal League Party, at the Municipal Pool.
• 8:30 p.m. Children's Float Parade, accompanied by the brass band.
• 11:00 p.m. Magic Night "MásQMagia" by "Showman Go On", framed in the "PACA" Provincial Circuit, in Plaza de la Fuente.
• 12:00 p.m. Semifinal Phase of the III "Villa de Alboloduy" Futsal Cup, at the "Moisés Ruiz Tocón" Sports Center.
• 12:30 p.m. Musical Night with "CHANO"

SUNDAY, August 13

• 09:00 a.m. Petanque tournament on the slopes of the senior park, organized by the "Peñón del Moro" sports club.
• 12:30 p.m. Foam strip by the Bomberos del Poniente, in Plaza San Juan.
• 8:30 p.m. Parade accompanied by giants and big heads and enlivened by the Music Band of the Music-Cultural Association "La Mezquita". Departure: Town Hall Square.
• 10:30 p.m. Circus Night and Humor "Aire y Fuego" by the company "Circoloco", framed in the Circuito Cultura en la Calle, in the Plaza de la Fuente.
• 11:30 p.m. Semifinal Phase of the VII "Villa de Alboloduy" Children's Indoor Soccer League, on the "Moisés Ruiz Tocón" Sports Center.

• 10:00 p.m. Final Phases of the VII "Villa de Alboloduy" Children's Futsal League, at the "Moisés Ruiz Tocón" Sports Center.
• 10:00 p.m. Opening of the exhibitions in the Multipurpose Space for Cultural Use and visit to the Water Interpretation Room.
• 12:00 p.m. Verbena enlivened by the "OMEGA" orchestra and DJ. "MINUTE", in the Plaza de la Fuente.

• 10:00 p.m. Concert by the Music Band of the Music-Cultural Association "La Mezquita" of Alboloduy in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
