From 15 to 21 August, the neighbourhood of Gràcia dresses up its streets to celebrate the Festes de Gràcia, one of the most eagerly awaited festivals of the summer in Barcelona, with a cultural programme that includes more than 900 activities for all ages.

What does the Gracia neighbourhood festival consist of?

It is a unique festival with exhibitions, concerts, tastings and many activities organised by a neighbourhood that has a reputation for being one of the most vibrant in Barcelona, with a bohemian, lively and commercial atmosphere.

At this festival, all the streets in the neighbourhood compete for the prize of being the best decorated street, and the competition is fierce, so don't forget to put your phone on selfie mode to take a picture of yourself with the one you like best.

Each street chooses its own theme, and they come in a wide variety. And one good thing about this festival is that it's open to everyone, meaning that everyone is welcome wherever they come from.
