The official celebration of our Concello pays tribute to the Rose dos Quirós. Join us to enjoy a month-long offering of gastronomy, culture, and sports. Don't miss the Festa da Empanada y Pan de Millo on the first Sunday of June.

Friday 2nd June

19.00 h. Performance of the Mulleres en Igualdade de Mos Theatre, in the Torroso Auditorium.

Friday 9th June

Opening of the new edition of the Rose Festival.

22.00 h. Concert by David Bustamante. In the Campo de Fútbol das Baloutas.

10th and 11th June

V Vila da Rosa Trophy, Juan Estévez Nené Memorial and the II Pé Football Tournament.

Sunday 11th June

18.00 h. Abrente Folk Festival, in the Torroso Dotacional Centre.

Tuesday 13th June

(Local holiday) 

The Praza do Concello will host the main events of the Festa da Rosa celebration, declared a Galician Festivity of Tourist Interest.

  • 10.00 h. Rose Competition
  • 11.00 h. Mass sung by the Ventos do Val choir.
  • 12.00 h. Reading of the proclamation.
  • 12.30 h. Jury's verdict on the winners of the Rose Competition and the Millo Pie Competition.
  • 13.00 h. Musical performance, the Mos hymn will be sung.

During the party, the attendants will be able to taste delicious portions of "empanada de pan de millo".

Saturday 17th June

XV Encontro de Palilleiras organised by the Association of Palilleiras de Mos outside the Multiusos das Pozas.
Festa da Hostelería. With concerts, crafts and gastronomy.

From 23rd May to 13th June

The workshops As nosas Rosas nas Parroquias. Fourteen cultural and neighbourhood associations will host the courses of: Drying of Roses, Soaps of Roses and Stamping of Roses painted on fabric.
