In February, Bembibre (León) celebrates the Festival of Exaltation of the Botillo, a typical sausage from El Bierzo which becomes the protagonist of the event.

From February 3 to February 24

Exhibition "Botillo Festival, our history". House of Cultures. Inauguration February 3 at 6:00 p.m.

Days 3, 4, 5, 10, 11 and 12 of February

Days of Pinchos del Botillo 2023. Organized by the Department of Commerce of the Bembibre City Council.

February 6th

Round table. "Nuestro Botillo", moderated by Nicanor García Ordiz, with the participation of Antonio Díaz Carro, Inés Fernandez Álvarez, José Ferrero Díez and Carlos Arias Rodríguez. House of Cultures 20:00 hours.

February 7th

Theater "The last one to turn off the light", by Emma Ozores. Benevivere Theatre. 8:00 p.m. Free entrance.

February 8th

Travel Tales "World Food Version", by David Acera. Benevivere Theatre, 8:00 p.m. Free entrance.

February 9th

Cooking masterclass with Bierzo products by Carlos Cabezas. Hours: 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Registration at the House of Cultures on February 1 and 2.

February 10

Inauguration of the XXIII "Villa de Bembibre" Food and Agriculture Fair, by Mr. Faustino Sanchez Samartino, Subdelegate of the Government in León. Bembibre Arena, 7:00 p.m.

During the opening hours of the Fair, a free "Arcade" center will be installed.

February 11: Exhibition and tasting of cut ham for all attendees. From 12:00 to 15:00.
February 12: Bollo preñao for all attendees, at 6:00 p.m.

6:30 p.m. Reception of authorities and maintainers at the Town Hall. Welcome and presentation of the Municipal Corporation.
7:45 p.m. Reception of guests at the Manuel Marqués "Patarita" Municipal Sports Pavilion.
8:00 p.m. Gala of the 50th National Festival of Exaltation of the Botillo, presented by the journalists Hector Keudell and Marta de Miguel.
