On June 11th, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the 15th edition of the Quatre Tombs Festival will be held in Torrentfondo, organized by "Malet y sus amigos" with the support and collaboration of the City Council.

The event will begin with a popular breakfast that can be purchased on-site for €10, consisting of 150g of white sausage (butifarra blanca), 100g of black sausage (butifarra negra), 1 slice of bacon, bread, water, wine, and cake.

From early morning, attendees can enjoy an exhibition of full-size carriages and carts, as well as a display of miniature carriages. The highlight will be the traditional Quatre Tombs parade, with a procession of horses and carriages, and the blessing of the animals by the priest from Sant Llorenç d'Hortons, Jordi Tres. The parade will start at 12:30 p.m.

During the festival, historical carriages can be seen, such as the "tartana," used in the past to transport people dressed up for mass; the "diligencia," which was the messenger of the time, transporting everything from food to furniture between the municipality and the capital; the "carros bocoy," which carried barrels with about five loads and was a unit of capacity for wine equivalent to around 650 liters; or the carriages that transported wine with goat leather.
